Henry Wood Memorial Field

Henry Wood Memorial Field, flying site of the Rocky Mountain Flying Machine, is located west of Albuquerque, approximately 2.5 miles north of I-40 at Exit 140.. The site has 2 600' X 60' hard surfaced  runways and 2 control line circles complete with a pull-test facility. For the hungry flyer, check out the barbecue pit! Henry Wood memorial Field is a private flying site for club members, a relaxing environment to fly and have fun. You'll hardly see more than two or three planes up at one time. It's a great place for the beginner to learn how to fly.
